Cighubs › Where can you buy cigarettes in Melbourne?
Every legal seller in Victoria keeps cigarettes out of sight — plain packaging, behind a closed cabinet — so you ask at the counter by brand and size rather than taking one off a shelf. There are four kinds of seller:
A single pack over the counter in Melbourne is commonly $40 to $60: Australian tobacco excise is among the highest in the world and is charged per stick. A carton — ten packs — is where the rate per pack falls. These are the carton prices at Cighubs as this page loaded, cheapest brand first:
| Brand | Carton (10 packs) | Per pack | Variants |
|---|---|---|---|
| Manchester | $95.00 | $9.50 | 10 |
| Mac | $100.00 | $10.00 | 1 |
| Oscar | $100.00 | $10.00 | 1 |
| ESSE | $123.00 | $12.30 | 7 |
The lowest published rate in the range is $8.21 a pack, on Manchester Queen Black bought twelve cartons at a time. More than twelve is quoted directly.
The legal age is 18. Anyone who looks under 25 is normally asked for photo ID — an Australian driver licence, a passport or a Keypass. That holds at a counter and it holds for a delivery: whoever accepts the parcel has to be over 18.
Cighubs delivers across Australia from Melbourne. The range is Manchester, ESSE, Mac, Oscar, plus 10 RELX pod flavours. Cigarettes are sold by the carton, or in bundles of four, eight or twelve — the sizes a single parcel holds, which is why the rate falls as the quantity rises. More than twelve cartons is quoted directly. Delivery is free and the parcel carries no branding.
Dispatched within 1–2 business days by Express Post, 1–3 business days to arrive, tracked all the way. Tracking shows on your order page once it ships. If your parcel hasn’t arrived within 10 business days of dispatch, tell us and we’ll send a replacement free — or refund you, your choice.
