Cighubs › Buy cigarettes online in Newcastle
Cighubs ships to the CBD, Merewether, Hamilton, Lambton, Wallsend, Charlestown, Lake Macquarie, Maitland, Cessnock and Port Stephens — and to the rest of NSW on the same terms. There is no shopfront to get to and no counter to ask at: the order is placed online and the parcel arrives at the address given, in plain packaging with nothing on the outside naming what is inside.
Newcastle is the centre of the Hunter, and Lake Macquarie, Maitland, Cessnock and Port Stephens addresses are delivered on the same terms as the city itself.
Dispatched within 1–2 business days by Express Post, 1–3 business days to arrive, tracked all the way. Tracking shows on your order page once it ships. If your parcel hasn’t arrived within 10 business days of dispatch, tell us and we’ll send a replacement free — or refund you, your choice.
A single pack over a counter is commonly $40 to $60 anywhere in Australia — excise is federal, so it does not fall because you are in Newcastle rather than somewhere else. What does change the rate is buying a carton instead of a pack. These are the carton prices at Cighubs as this page loaded, cheapest brand first:
| Brand | Carton (10 packs) | Per pack | Variants |
|---|---|---|---|
| Manchester | $95.00 | $9.50 | 10 |
| Mac | $100.00 | $10.00 | 1 |
| Oscar | $100.00 | $10.00 | 1 |
| ESSE | $123.00 | $12.30 | 7 |
The same prices apply in Newcastle as everywhere else Cighubs delivers. Delivery is free and is not added per kilometre.
The range is Manchester, ESSE, Mac, Oscar, plus 10 RELX pod flavours sold by the box. Cigarettes are sold by the carton of ten packs, or in bundles of four, eight or twelve cartons — each one a single parcel, which is why the rate per carton falls as the bundle grows. More than twelve is priced by conversation rather than by the page — message the shop and it is quoted directly.
Payment is by card (for orders between $30 and $1,000), bank transfer or PayID. The legal age is 18, and whoever accepts the parcel has to be over 18 — that is asked of anyone who looks under 25, the same as at a counter.
